                                                                            their home country. She wanted the same

rights as a man. He just wanted to love one. They arrive on the lower east side of Manhattan,

finding lodging and work in a hotel.

Unbeknowst to them, the hotel is actual a front for a gang run brothel.

 

As the brother and sister move forward towards what they desire most, they're pulled deeper

and deeper into the dealings of the hotel. It's a place where sex is sold and the police are

bought, where love and lust know no boundaries except revenge. It's a place where landing in

the gutter is considered social climbing. A place so corrupt there's only way to check out:

by drinking carbolic acid.
