My work deals with expectations, and challenges the binaries we continually construct, and re-construct, between ourselves and others. I try to demonstrate how characters extend themselves beyond their imposed societal limits, allowing them to be who they inherently are.

With themes like sexuality and family structure, my works tend toward a more realistic and nuanced represenation of gay lives and ethnic lives. Light-heartedness rules these worlds, leaving the real world "rules" undermined.
